Visual FX Programmer (shaders)
Are you a talented shader artist looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy writing shader code, have a strong drive in researching and applying new techniques, and love creating new jaw-dropping effects (post-processing, particle fx, and compute shaders)? Can you spend hours tweaking and refining your shader to make it look just right? Then we are looking for you!
Lumion is a serious gaming-based visualization program for architects that runs on our in-house developed, DirectX 12 based 3D engine. We aim to deliver high-quality graphics in an easy-to-use environment. So anyone can pick it up, have a fun time using the program and achieve high-quality renders.
Your role:
Your role will be pushing the visual boundaries as you create new eye candy and update existing shaders. Because your main focus is not on performance, you have the opportunity to develop more complex shaders than the ones you’d usually find in games.
What you'll need:
A formal qualification in shader programming is a plus. However, if you’re great at HLSL/GLSL shaders, sheer talent can make up for a lack of academic merit!
What we offer:
In return, we can offer you a permanent full-time job, a good salary, and a friendly and fun work environment without crunch time.
We are looking for a new colleague to join our development team located at our office in the Netherlands. We can help you relocate to the Netherlands and we’re flexible in terms of work location.
Interested in the job?
Then we would love to hear from you. If we like your application, you will be asked to complete a small unpaid test that we will use to evaluate your skills.
